Ah, well this is soooo much fun. A story of new beginnings, starting again, but going backwards to go forwards...
We begin at a friends wedding when poor Poppy is dumped to the singles table with the brides pervy brother. Here she meets Kat who is an absolutely hilarious character and I watched with trepidation what she may or may not do next. She brought the plot to life for me due to the unpredictability of her character.
This has some many great components in it. Its light hearted, cheeky, some major cringe and some super giggle moments. A couple times I was fighting the urge to shout "OMG don't do that!!"
Poppy's dad when he appears is also highly entertaining. He's moving on with a new woman, and meddling in Poppy's life.
Fun factor central. The perfect read to kick away any January blues.
